DJ Safety (FKA Abi) is a self proclaimed bedroom dj at large. Shifting between bass, club, dub, percs and jungle, she has quickly made a name for herself in the Sydney scene, despite only playing her first club gigs at the end of 2018. Perpetually fascinated by the nexus of politics and dance music, her sets draw inspiration from the rich history of dance music, as well as her own desire to forefront marginalized folk, both in dance spaces, and on the production end.

Irregular Fit radio is a two hour monthly sonic odyssey featuring sounds from Bla(c)k, Brown and POC (persons of colour) artists from all over the globe. Featuring guest mixes and interviews Irregular Fit radio is a celebration of the music and art that inspires and empowers us all.

Safety First is a deep dive into the nexus of politics and dance music. The relationship between these things has always been important (specifically regarding the fact that dance music itself comes from marginalized communities) and is often lost in the mainstream cultural disdain for dance and drug culture. Safety First seeks to explore club culture, from the music to the politics, and everything in between.
